Promo “Float” video:
Reality TV Producer Jay Hix Jones, via His Hungry Fish Media Ministry, along with Little Studio Films, Impeccable Music Group, and Marketing Dynamics, will produce the faith based feature documentary “Float”, as a vehicle for Jones’ feature directorial debut.
“Float” will follow Jones, 2013 Grammy and award-winning music producer Pastor Billy Dorsey, and famed Christian author Dr. Luke Holter, as they immerse themselves into the infamous party culture of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, TX. The trio will use their testimonies and unique spiritual gifts to share a salvation message of Jesus Christ. Holter said, “I’m excited to be a part of a project that will show the true heart of the Father for a lost and hurting people.”
Highlights of the documentary will include high definition drone aerial videography, jaywalking style interviews with party goers, river baptisms, worship concert with performances by Dorsey, and special celebrity guest appearances. All culminating on Memorial Day with the “1000 MAN FLOAT”, a Guinness World Record Attempt for the largest Christian float down the Guadalupe. Together the team will take one of the most current and fresh looks at Evangelism Texas has ever seen.
Jones Launched Hungry Fish Media in 2013 as a way to produce original content that inspires people to develop personal relationships with Jesus. With many popular TV producing credits to his name, such as “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”, “Ice Road Truckers”, “1,000 Ways to Die” and “Hoarders”, Jones will be making his feature film directorial debut with “Float”.
